When Chris Webb was about to put the roof on his latest project he was about to take the default choice, and buy GRP external cornice.

After a brief discussion with his “chippy” who’d used Orac on other sites he decided to call me in, and see what we could offer.

It didn’t take long before he agreed the polyurethane C820 cornice was the better option.

Now the roof’s on I’ve been back to site, and particularly liked this interpretation of an “American Box End”.

As pretty as these extended box ends look on prestigious houses they can create water ingress problems, or help pigeons start a new roost.

By offering up an inverted C820A ninety degree external corner  the problems solved, and not only that he it looks fabulous too.

When the windows are in I’ll be back and take a  shot of the front elevation.
