Yesterday I was hammering up the M1 when one of our indirect customers called.

“How flexible are your flexible mouldings?” (Click the link to find out!)

It’s a common question, after a few minutes talking him through the procedures he was ready to place an order through Brewers at Bournemouth.

As a general rule the thicker the profile the less it will bend, and archways will always work best with a flexi-panel moulding rather than a coving alternative.

In today’s picture you can see a detail by Scurr Architects as used all around The Royal Star and Garter residence recently completed in Surbiton.

The columns are ours too, but the detail in the middle is our P8020 Flex.

Fixing Tip: Always use FDP700 outside, and in cases like this join the ends with FX210.  Use luggage straps to hold in place for 24 hours, and then release them to decorate the following day.
